I interviewed Representative Mia Gregerson from Sea Tac and several advocates for those experiencing homelessness for a recent piece on the Urbanist. Their attempt to ratify a Homeless Bill of Rights (and bring City policies across Washington in line with the US constitution, along with basic human decency) fizzled out last session, but they are looking to carry this momentum into the next session!
